We visited a local secondary school at the end of half term to run a workshop for their 'Multi Agency Team' inset day.

As well as looking at signs and behaviours associated with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, we talked about the daily struggles of learning and what it can 'feel' like. We looked at how reading can be impacted if early skills haven't been learned to mastery and staff had a go at a multisensory task of making a 'Reading Model' whilst investigating their own levels of Phonological Awareness - hearing and manipulating sounds in words.
