The New Ways Learning Centre is growing and we are now looking for exceptional people to join our team of teachers and learning support assistants working with children (age 2-16) needing support with their learning. Our centre is based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and is a friendly and welcoming hub of enjoyment, providing one to one and small group sessions across a variety of settings.

Applicants must have an interest in working with children with needs due to specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia, ADHD, autism and ASD and SEMHD as well as top-up mainstream teaching and services for children educated at home.

Teachers must have recent and relevant experience of specifically working with children with SEND. Teaching Assistants must be at least L2 qualified and have experience of planning, delivering and running interventions. As well as these formal requirements, we need people who can go with the flow, enjoy a bit (or a lot!) of mess and can adapt on the flick of a switch.

Sessions run throughout the week and take place at the centre, schools and homes so willingness to travel and own car is essential. Flexibility for working hours is required. More detailed (and formal) job descriptions are available from us so please Contact Us for more information.
