The STEM group have been making a red cabbage indicator to learn about acids and alkalis within household substances. Developing their fundamental understanding of chemistry, biology and environmental science they tested hand soap, dishwasher detergent, toothpaste, vinegar, tea, milk, and fizzy pop. Lots of happy scientists at the end of the session 😊 🧪
